Matt Logan releases new single ‘One of Those Nights’

Some songs come easy. Others make you fight for them. *One of Those Nights* was both.

It was a morning in spring—about 6 AM, actually—when I picked up my guitar just to see what would happen. The hook for this song instantly materialized. These flashes of inspiration are hard to explain, hard to even remember how they happened, because you’re just in some kind of flow state.

But the ease of that first moment contrasts completely with the rest of the song. I threw away several verses, chopped up and rearranged parts, and re-recorded vocals at least five times. So goes the creative process—messy, frustrating, and totally worth it in the end.

What the Song Is About

Some nights are different. Maybe it’s the wine, maybe it’s the weight of things unspoken, maybe it’s just the way the air feels at a certain hour. Thoughts surface that usually stay buried. Questions echo a little louder. The song came from a moment like that. Where it leads—well, that’s for you to decide.

Where to listen

*One of Those Nights* is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and wherever you stream your music. Give it a listen, add it to your playlists, and let me know what you think!

Ya dig?

If you’ve ever had *one of those nights*—where you can’t sleep, where your thoughts get the best of you, where you pick up a guitar just to make sense of it all—this one’s for you.

Drop a comment, share the song, and let’s keep the conversation going. Thanks for listening!
